Register for the Vulnerability Monitoring Service and SIEM Integration
Register for our most comprehensive monitoring and reporting service to protect your public sector domains against cyber attacks.
Get our full cyber vulnerability protection
By combining the Government Digital Service’s (GDS) free Vulnerability Monitoring Service (VMS) and SIEM Integration, you’ll gain regular vulnerability data delivered directly into your security ecosystem.
You can also use the form to register for the VMS or SIEM Integration separately. This might depend on when you’re applying or which team you’re in, for example IT or SOC operations, cyber security, or vulnerability management teams.
Before you start
You’ll need to be able to answer the following:
- contact details of the security lead who can authorise the use of our services on behalf of your organisation
- a full list of your public sector domains (if you’re registering for VMS), you can also include wider namespaces such as .com or equivalent

Share your zone files
To make sure we’re monitoring your full attack surface, you should share your zone files with our team.
This lets us keep an eye on all your domains and subdomains, helping ensure nothing is missed and reducing the risk of vulnerabilities going unnoticed.
Making changes after registering
If you need to make changes after registering, you will need to let us know by sending an email to support@domains.gov.uk.
Changes you might need to make include if you need to change the authoriser or add a new domain (if you do not have zone file transfer set up).
